We strongly recommend you arrive in Seattle by 11am on Saturday, May 18, 2013, so you can join our pre-departure fun. If you’re arriving on Sunday, May 19, please book a flight that arrives before 11am. In case of delays, we don’t want you to miss the boat.

We’ll choose a host hotel in downtown Seattle. Details to come.

TRANSPORTATION OPTIONS
Seattle has a light rail system that goes from SeaTac airport to downtown Seattle and it runs every 10-15 minutes. It’s $2.50. Details.

There is free Monorail that runs from downtown Seattle to Seattle Center / Space Needle. Details.

Balcony Stateroom
$1950 per person / $3900 per room

Oceanview Balcony Staterooms feature floor-to-ceiling windows with a sliding glass door that opens to a private balcony. Each stateroom has two lower beds that convert to a queen-sized bed and a private bathroom with shower, sitting area with sofa bed, private bathroom with shower, refrigerator, safe, tea and coffeemaker, television, phone and Internet connection.

Outside Stateroom
$1570 per person / $3140 per room

Located on the exterior of the ship on deck 4, 5 or 6, these rooms include two lower beds that are convertible to one queen-size bed, TV, in-room safe, refrigerator and full bath with shower and hair dryer. Each room features a porthole for your viewing pleasure. Rooms are approximately 157 square feet. You’ll receive the best room available in this category at the time of booking. Beds can be configured as two singles or one double.

Inside Stateroom
$1310 per person / $2620 per room

Inside staterooms have two lower beds that convert to a queen-sized bed and a private bathroom with shower, sitting area, refrigerator, safe, tea and coffeemaker, television, phone, and Internet connection. Inside staterooms do not have a window. Rooms are approximately 132 square feet. Many rooms offer the option of adding a third or fourth person to the room!

 

WHAT’S INCLUDED

The price above includes all the fees normally associated with cruising, like port taxes, gratuities and other charges. It includes all you can eat at five of the 13 restaurants on board, basic beverages (tea, coffee, juice, milk) and access to all Sweet entertainment, parties and special programming (except Sweet excursions).

WHAT’S NOT INCLUDED IN THE PRICE

It does not include roundtrip transportation to Seattle, any pre- or post-cruise accommodations, alcohol, soda, bottled water, spa treatments, shore excursions or other on-board expenses. NCL assesses a $12 per day per person charge ($84 for the week) payable on board.

MONTHLY PAYMENT PLAN

We’re offering our no interest, no fees payment plan for this fantastic Alaska cruise. All payment plans must be paid in full by March 1, 2013.

Who qualifies for this fantastic payment plan? You do! No credit check, no hassles, everyone qualifies.

To calculate your payment plan, subtract your non-refundable $100 per person deposit from your total, then divide by the number of months prior to March 1, 2012. Add $469 per person for additional guest in cabins that accommodate third and fourth guests.

SINGLES

Sorry singles, we are not offering roommate matching for this cruise. If you’d like a room to yourself, you have to pay for both slots. You are welcome to find a roommate on your own.

SWEET ALASKA CRUISE CANCELLATION POLICY

If you cancel 90 days or more prior to your vacation, we’ll keep your $100 per person deposit and refund the balance of any payments above your deposit by check within 30 days of receiving your cancellation notice. If you cancel 89 to 7 days prior to your vacation, you forfeit half the total amount of your vacation (NCL’s policy, not ours) and we’ll hold the remaining balance for your next Sweet vacation. If you cancel 6 or fewer days prior to your vacation, you forfeit the entire amount of your vacation (ugh, definitely don’t cancel this vacation).

Fleece, fleece, baby: Alaska packing

Whoo hoo! It’s finally time to pack for our Alaska Sweet Alaska Cruise. Plan for temperatures between 45 F and 75 F. Layer, layer, layer and bring a light rain jacket. The keyword is “fleece,” ladies. The ship does have a few dress code requirement for us. Basically, don’t go to an indoor restaurant in your wet swimsuit, even if it’s under your clothes. Also, ripped jeans, shorts, flip flops and tank tops are not allowed in the dining room.

Here’s a list of things you don’t want to forget:
• Toiletries: Razor, lotion, make up (or not), hair ties, toothbrush, toothpaste, topsy tail, hair brush, mousse, gel, Advil, Extenze, tampons / pads, Q-Tips, etc.

• Hairdryer: NCL has upgraded the blow dryers in their rooms to full strength. You may leave yours at home, even if you have long, thick hair.

• United States to European converter, if you need more than one American thing plugged in at once.
