NCLR Gala, San Francisco
May 22
If there was ever a time when we all needed a party, it’s now. We’ve been through a lot this year and for the past 32 years and we need to come together. NCLR couldn’t have made it this far without you, and we hope to salute you and your support.
NCLR is celebrating 32 years of fighting for LGBT civil and human rights with a fun, energetic community party for our entire family of supporters and friends. The Kates (Kendell and Clinton) will be there, as well as some special guests, and there will be plenty of noshing, drinks, and dancing, along with 1,499 of your closest friends.

At Sweet, we know how important it is for everyone to feel the love. It’s our fervent hope that the California Supreme Court does, too. We’ve got our fingers, toes and eyes crossed that the Court’s decision on Tuesday will mean that the 18,000 couples who were wed before last year’s election are able to stay married. Further, we hope even more lovebirds will be able to walk down the aisle in California (say Wednesday).
Sweet is a proud sponsor of both Equality California and the National Center for Lesbian Rights, two amazing organizations that have been working tirelessly for equal rights. Here’s hoping there will be celebrations throughout California on Tuesday.
Have a wonderful, long weekend.

May 15Hip hip hooray! Same-sex couples can get married in California. Waaaaahoooo! The California State Supreme Court ruled that excluding gay and lesbian couples from the right to marry is unconstitutional.
Thank you National Center for Lesbian Rights, Equality California and everyone involved in this historic decision. Learn more about NCLR and its State Supreme Court victory!
