Blame Sally Press 1 470x312 Blame Sally benefit for HorizonsJoin Sweet for a very special afternoon in the Wine Country. On Saturday, August 13, Sweet is hosting a concert featuring Blame Sally to benefit Horizons Foundation’s marriage equality work.

Beautiful harmonies, intricate instrumental work, smart lyrics, and gently energized rhythms mark the songs of Blame Sally, the San Francisco-based folk-pop quartet. The four women in the band are each veteran musicians and songwriters in their own right, and together they create soulful, complex, finely crafted music.

Come out to support marriage equality in Jen Rainin and Franco Stevens’ beautiful amphitheater nestled in their Calistoga vineyards. Wine and hors d’oeuvres provided by Whole Foods and winetasting.com. Directions provided by Horizons Foundation upon RSVP.

Let Sweet buy your first drink at our Sweet Happy Hour. Join us at the friendly and welcoming Parlour on Clark (6341 N. Clark Street) on Friday, July 15, from 6-8pm.

Meet and mingle with Sweet co-founder Jen Rainin and special guest, Curve magazine founder Franco Stevens and do a good turn for the Anti-Cruelty Society . Free champagne provided by our generous hosts at Parlour on Clark for the first hour. Plus, bring an item from the Anti-Cruelty Society’s wishlist and receive a free drink.

CAT & DOG WISHLIST
• New dog toys, hard rubber (especially all size Kong toys )
• New cat toys, plastic or rubber
• Premium brands canned cat and dog food
• Beef or chicken flavored baby food
• New or gently used towels, all sizes
• Grooming Supplies (nail clippers, electric grooming clippers, grooming shears, pet shampoo/conditioner, brushes/combs, de-matting tools)
• Strong Bench dog beds – Make a donation for us to purchase Strong Bench beds for our adoptable dogs. We use a specific type of dog bed, “Strong Benches”, for our adoptable dogs that work best in the shelter setting and are not sold in general pet stores.
• Fleece fabric to make pet beds (by the yard)

• Nikon Coolpix L110 12.1MP Digital Camera with 15x Optical Vibration Reduction (VR) Zoom
• USB flash drives (preferably 4G)
• 8.5” x 11” white printer/copier paper
