See lesbian comedian Suzanne Westenhoefer, Sweet founders Jen Rainin and Shannon Wentworth and a bevy of beautiful Sweeties clean up beaches, paint schools and hospitals and generally spread great gobs of glee on a gorgeous Caribbean cruise.

Mental 99 benefit for EQCA

Join Sweet for a very special evening in the Wine Country. On Saturday, July 23, Sweet is hosting a concert featuring Mental 99 to benefit Equality California‘s marriage equality work.
Mental 99 is a new instrumental rock duo from San Francisco. The group consists of guitarist Joe Gore [Tom Waits, Tracy Chapman, Courtney Love] and drummer Dawn Richardson [Four Non-Blondes, Tracy Chapman, Shana Morrison, Martinis, Angel Corpus Christi]. With their incredible experience and boundless talent, they conjure vast panoramas of sound with their uncommonly imaginative originals and ultra-creative covers.
Come out to support marriage equality in Jen Rainin and Franco Stevens’ beautiful amphitheater nestled in their Calistoga vineyards. Wine and hors d’oeuvres provided by Whole Foods and winetasting.com. Directions provided by EQCA upon RSVP.

• Strong Bench dog beds – Make a donation for us to purchase Strong Bench beds for our adoptable dogs. We use a specific type of dog bed, “Strong Benches”, for our adoptable dogs that work best in the shelter setting and are not sold in general pet stores.
