WHAT’S PROVIDED
• Lifejackets
• Waterproof bag
• Day bag (8 inches by 20 inches)
• Eating utensils and plates
• Full course meals (lunch the first day through lunch the last day)
• Drinks (ice water, lemonade, juices, two sodas per day)

The day bag is for items you will need access to during the day. For your sleeping gear and clothing, we will furnish you with one bag 16-inches diameter by 2-feet high. Separate storage is provided for tents and beverages. Please remember to keep your gear light and compact. The less you bring, the happier you will be.

GEAR YOU MUST BRING OR RENT
• Cup (plastic mugs work well)
• Sleeping bag (compact and warm)
• Ground cloth (waterproof)
• Poncho / rainsuit
• Sleeping pad / air mattress (compact, must fit in the bag described above)
• Light tent (backpacker style)

RECOMMENDED CLOTHING
• Swimming suits
• Shorts
• Long pants (quick drying)
• Hat with strap (for sun protection)
• Sunglasses with strap
• Sunscreen (SPF 15 or higher, preferably higher)
• Chapstick (SPF 15 or higher)
• Hand lotion
• Toothbrush and toothpaste
• Comb or brush or whatever makes your hair look happy
• Washcloth
• Quick-dry travel towel
• Tissue (travel pack)
• Water bottle
• Disposable Camera (waterproof)
• Sarong (optional)
• Extra snacks (stuff you can’t live without)
• Shirts (short and long sleeved with sun protection)
• Shoes (sneakers)
• Sandals (like Tevas or Chacos)
• socks (several pairs)
• Jacket (fleece or pile with wind / rain protective shell)
• Long underwear (optional, but cozy)
• Biodegradable soap
• Insect repellent (small bottles)
• Tampons and Ziplock bags for each day to store the, er, used ones in
• Medication (ibuprofen, tylenol, etc)
• Flashlight (small and bring extra batteries)
• Stuff sack (to keep wet and dry clothes separated)
• Fishing gear (well, only if you like to fish)
• Extra beverages (uh, as much alcohol as you can carry, but no glass. Think aluminum beer cans and boxes of wine … classy AND handy)
• Wet suit (if you are a chilly willy, bring one)

WHAT NOT TO BRING
• No glass bottled beverages
• No radios
• No firearms
• No pets
• Non-waterproof watches (super bad idea)
• Expensive cameras and binoculars aren’t the best idea.

Please limit gear and clothing to 15 to 20 pounds.

PAYMENT AND POLICY
A non-refundable deposit of $250 per person is due at the time of booking. Final payment is due 60 days prior to departure.

CANCELLATION POLICY
If you cancel 90 days prior to our trip, you’re eligible for a full refund minus your non-refundable deposit, which can be moved to the Sweet vacation of your choice. If you cancel 89 days to 46 days prior to your trip, you’ll be charged a $100 cancellation fee, so your whatever you’ve paid over your $250 non-refundable deposit will be returned to you. If you cancel 45 days to 0 days prior to your trip, you’re not eligible for any refund.

Grand Canyon, Grand Shmanyon. It’s too big! There’s too many people. Besides, everything is getting smaller these days. Remember how big phones used to be? Remember how big hair used to be? It seems ludicrous in hindsight.

Join Sweet for a three day, two night rafting adventure down the MINI Grand Canyon on the Colorado River. All the beauty, none of the vastness. This segment of the Colorado River is the answer for the person who wants it all. It’s a stunningly beautiful way to leave the world behind you.
