No H8 Campaign

Hate sux. That’s the whole point of Adam Bouska and Jeff Parshley’s fab No H8 campaign. The photographic campaign grew out of the passage of Proposition 8 in California. The duct tape represents the silencing of lesbian, gay and allies voices. It’s a fantastic grassroots campaign. Please check it out.

Sweet, our special guests and artists were thrilled at the opportunity to participate. LOVE IT. I have many posters and saying about h8. NO H8 ZONE.

I’ve seen rallies about prop8 in only a few states and I wonder if there is a spokeperson for those that don’t have a voice like there was in california, new york and seattle. Even though sexuality does effect those that aren’t open minded and have not adapted to change but we are every where. I live in Maryland one of the most openly gay states besides California and there haven’t been any type of support for us here, So how can I find out if we even have the right to commerate our voice and to establish anything like gay marriage, rights or even beable to be heard? Yes we do have gay pride in Baltimore and DC and its only once a year then they have black pride and that’s like a straight pride. But its just not fair that we are not and have not done anything here to live as straight couples do. Did u know that 66% of maryland residents or gay and living together and the crazy thing is we can’t even open a bank account jointly if it’s the same sex and and buying a house is totally out of the question its even hard to rent. Me and my girlfriend had to say we were cousins to live here. Its a two bedroom and we only need one it took us 2 yrs. How can I find out if there is a voice for us?
