YOUR FLIGHTS
If you’re not joining us for our New Orleans adventure, it’s best to fly in on Saturday, Nov. 7. In the event of flight delays, you don’t want to be caught watching our ship sail away on Sunday.

On your way home, it’s best to book your flights after 1pm. It takes a long time to disembark and the airports are busy when a ship comes in. We’ll be off the ship by 11am. That gives you plenty of time to get to the airport, check in and enjoy one last beignet for the road.

PARKING AT THE PORT
There’s affordable parking at the port. No need to reserve your space. It’s $16 a day ($112 for the week).

NEW ORLEANS
Want to experience the best of the legendary French Quarter? Try our three-day pre-cruise package, featuring a Creole cooking (and eating) demonstration, lesbian history tour, French Quarter tour, Hurricane Katrina relief project and an exclusive rooftop party. Details & pricing >>

Thanks for the excellent run down of info! Just one question about trip insurance: Where can you get it and does it cover both airline and the cruise?

OK – I feel like a dork – but what is a pink party? What does one wear? All pink? Like a white party but… pinker?

Pink! You don’t have to be all pink, but wear pink somewhere. Have fun with it.

Could we have a Speed dating Event? or do you already have something planned?

We have a lot of events for singles planned. Our emphasis is on making friends and activity partners. Love connections are welcome, but those are up to you. If we have enough interest, we’d be happy to arrange a speed dating event. Please reply to this thread if you’re interested.

i would be interested in one of the internet cards. do u need to bring your own laptop or is there an ‘internet room’ with computers we can use?

i’d be glad to help sweet do a speed date if there is enough interest! ;-)

You can bring your own laptop or use one of the terminals in the library.

Will there be any 12 step meetings on board?
Thanks

Yes, there’s a friends of Bill W. meeting every evening.

Any shots/immunizations required/recommended for any of the ports?

No.

Yes, let’s have a speed dating event.

Other than the Champagne and Bubbles night, are there any other “formal” nights that I need to bring an outfit for, besides dinner attire each evening?

Beth,
Yes, Champagne and Bubbles is the only formal night. We don’t enforce any dress code, so wear what makes you happy.
xo

I need to stay at hotel Monteleone for one night on saturday of November 7. Anyone who may wanted to share or don’t mind if just one night? I will pay for one night share. Please let me know soon. text me at 323-360-7304 .. thanks

You can just book one night at the hotel. We did.

We have never been to Belize or Roatan….will they welcome us with open arms? :)

Both of these places are extraordinarily glad to have us visit.

if i bring my laptop or other little electrical devices…do I need a special adapter, converter or transformer for the wall plug? i’d hate to fry something!

There is one 2-prong, 100 volt outlet in your cabin. There are also European plugs, if you’d like to bring a converter; however, those are also 100 volts.

Hi again . ok… 100 volts…I’m not sure what that means… will it power a computer? a vibrator (I had to ask!!) :) –how about a U.S. hairdryer? And two prong, well, we have two flat prongs in the U.S. but in other countries there are outlets that are made for two round prongs…which are the ones on the ship? Thanks!

Yes on a computer. No on most US hairdryers as they are 1800 watts (180 volts). I’m not sure about the vibrator. There is one plug with two flat prongs.

I’ve just read on the NCL website that there is a service charge per person of $12 per day. I haven’t seen this in any of your literature… is this covered by sweet?
and your site says that drink prices include tips but theirs says that you tip the bartender 15%. Which is it? Thanks

Yes, the service charge per person per day is included in the cost of your trip. When you buy a drink, the 15 percent gratuity is automatically added to your drink cost.
