What words best describe Comedian Suzanne Westenhoefer? How about bold, bawdy, and just plain hilarious? Not afraid to ask tough questions that uncover the laughs underneath, Suzanne’s made a career out of telling the truth. And the truth is, life is funny.

And now, Suzanne takes it to the road one more time with her upcoming tour, most appropriately named, “Totally Inappropriate.” This new show will continue Suzanne’s tradition of working mostly unscripted, so when she hits the stage it’s an unpredictable, original night of comedy magic. Every night on the tour will feature new material inspired by her experiences in that city, some of which are created on the spot. “The audience and I participate in the creation of each night’s show,” she says, an interactive approach that makes her shows unique in the world of live comedy.

While she says she can’t promise dancing girls or magic tricks on her new tour, she does guarantee an hour and a half of “the same brilliant stand up comedy that I’ve been pumping out for 19 years.” And, she adds, “Each show on the tour will have its own version of inappropriateness, so you’ll need to come to a show and find out for yourself.” Upcoming stops on the “Totally Inappropriate” tour include shows in Ft Lauderdale, Denver, Alexandria, Va., Santa Ana, Ca., and Ft Worth, Tx.

Suzanne says the inspiration for her new show came from a joke between her and her girlfriend of six years, Jennifer. “We were each raised very differently,” Suzanne says, “And ever since we’ve been together she’s been shocked, horrified, and aghast at the things I’ll say. This includes everyday things like asking people about their sexuality in the bank line. She tells me I don’t have appropriate boundaries, so it’s become a huge running joke between us.” Suzanne hopes that “Totally Inappropriate” can progress from a stage show to something that eventually she can get down on paper, like a book, or perhaps, she says, “a comedy brochure.”

After entering the world of comedy on a dare, Suzanne has been delivering gay material in mainstream clubs to straight audiences and proudly performing within the LGBT community ever since. She became the first openly lesbian comic ever to appear on television in 1991 on an episode of Sally Jesse Raphael entitled “Breaking the Lesbian Stereotype…Lesbians Who Don’t Look Like Lesbians.” She went on to become the first openly gay comic to host her own HBO Comedy Special in 1994, which earned her a Cable Ace Award nomination. Other television appearances include The Late Show with David Letterman, GSN’s remake of the classic game show, “I’ve Got a Secret” as well as HBO, Bravo and LOGO TV specials. Now beginning her 20th year of side-splitting merriment, she continues to forge new ground while enjoying her well-earned reputation as a pioneer on the lesbian comedy scene.

Suzanne’s recent tour, “Finally legal… in a few states,” entertained audiences across the country, and was a headlining act on Sweet’s recent Caribbean cruise. Her latest venture, a starring role in the popular online web drama “We Have To Stop Now” is about to enter its second season, with the first soon available on DVD. Her GLAMA award-winning specials “Nothing in my Closet but my Clothes,” “I’m Not Cindy Brady” and “Guaranteed Fresh” are all available on DVD, as are her most recent televised specials, “Live from the Village” and “A Bottom on Top.”

Andrea Meyerson has been on a roll for the past fourteen years. From founding Women On A Roll (WOAR), the premier lesbian social club in Southern California in 1995, to receiving HRC’s Local Hero Award in March of last year, Andrea has sat squarely in the center of Southern California’s LGBT community. Now an award-winning film-maker, television producer, event producer, concert promoter and entrepreneur, Andrea’s vision has helped create an active, vibrant, and tightly-knit community of lesbians in Southern California and beyond.

Andrea’s entrepreneurial sprit has translated into three separate businesses that each serve the LGBT community in different, but complementary, ways. The team behind Women On A Roll creates opportunities for lesbians to connect, socialize, travel and be active with each other. StandOut Productions, the live concert and event production company Andrea founded in 1997, ensures that LGBT and LGBT-friendly entertainers – both up-and-coming and iconic – are able to play in the best possible venues and have access to the widest possible audiences. All Out Films, the film and television production company Andrea founded in 2002 to produce her Laughing Matters series, allows her and her team to continue to document the work of LGBT comics on film so that audiences everywhere can experience the power of laughter.

A tireless advocate for the LGBT community and for women, Andrea received the L.A. Gay & Lesbian Center’s L.A.C.E. (Lesbians Active in Community Empowerment) Award in 2002. PowerUp honored her as one of the Ten Amazing Women in Showbiz in 2004. In 2006, she received the WIN Outstanding Women Award from the Women’s Image Network and was also named a finalist for PlanetOut’s Entrepreneur of the Year. Andrea made history in 2007 when she became the first out lesbian to receive the YWCA’s Women of Achievement Award. In March of 2008, Andrea was honored with the prestigious HRC Local Hero Award.

Cambria Women’s Weekend is Andrea’s latest venture. Now in its second year, the weekend offers women the chance to gather, relax, play, mix and mingle amongst hundreds of other women in the quaint artists’ town of Cambria on California’s Central Coast.

Without a doubt, this woman who’s dedicated her life to finding new ways to bring the LGBT community together, is still on a roll.

In this sexy, lesbian romp, a talented, but distracted photographer, Lola, on the verge of success in both love and work, could lose it all if she doesn’t make it to a crucial meeting on time. But, as usual, Lola is late.

Corday has a large and loyal following in Los Angeles and Orange County and is also nationally known by all fans of women who rock, having toured and performed at numerous notable venues and huge festivals and events where she has opened for Cher, Joan Jett, Sugar Ray, The Dave Matthews Band, Pat Benatar, Joan Osborne, The B-52′s, Macy Gray, The Indigo Girls, Meredith Brooks, Cyndi Lauper, Berlin, Jonatha Brooke, Sophie B. Her hit song “Pie” has been described by critics as “a radio’s dream,” and was included on the MTV Undressed soundtrack and in numerous independent films. She has also performed at schools everywhere presenting powerful anti-drug concerts with the full band. She has toured overseas to perform for the troops and is always proud to make a difference with her music. She is currently sponsored by Daisy Rock Guitars, Larrivee Guitars, Levy’s Leathers, SKB Cases, Dunlop, D’Addario, Audio Technica, and Peavey.
That’s What She Said is a mad musical bouquet of imaginative, comic songs about lesbians. Amy Turner, vocalist, and Kathryn Lounsbery, pianist and vocalist, effortlessly take their audiences on a whirlwind tour through music: jazz, rap, folk, disco, light opera, and power ballads, to name a few, are presented on an eco-friendly silver platter. Their musical versatility and impeccable comic timing have quickly garnered rave reviews and a world-wide following. Recently named “Best Comedy Show to Make You Pee Your Pants” by Jane and Jane Magazine, Amy and Kathryn have taken their show across the country, to Mexico, and are recent darlings of the Film Festival circuit with their hard-core rap homage to the oldest Lesbian joke: U-Haul: The Music Video.
