12-MONTH PAYMENT PLAN
With all the bad economic news streaming past you day in and day out, we thought we’d bring you some good news: Our special 12-month payment plan for the Sweet Caribbean Cruise. Book now, cruise in November, finish paying next year. Now, that’s Sweet. There’s no interest, hidden fees or other gobbledygook. That’s right, no catch. We want you to set sail with us in November. It’s that simple.

With our new 12-month payment plan, your seven day Caribbean adventure starts at $71 per person per month (double occupancy). Combine this with our foursome offer and it’s 36 bucks a month!

You deserve a vacation. Sweet wants to make sure you can afford one. Call us at 877.793.3830 (international callers 510-595-7746) and reserve your cabin today.

ABOUT OUR PRICING
Our no. 1 goal at Sweet is to be sweet in everything we do. That means our pricing is Sweet, too. All of the prices you see above include all of the usually additional fees associated with cruising, like the fuel surcharge, government taxes, federal taxes, gratuities and other miscellaneous fees.

Our monthly payment plan is free — no fees, no interest, no hassle.

Our prices are per person based on double occupancy. We’ll add a third or fourth person to your room free until September 15, 2009 (yeah, totally free in rooms that accommodate third and fourth passengers).

SINGLES
If you’re traveling alone, you’re not alone. We have a robust program on board for single travelers. Details. We’ll either match you with a roommate or offer you a single supplement of half the cost of a second guest (like so: your fare + half your fare = your room price).

The above prices do not include your airfare or accommodations before or after we sail. Non-refundable $250 deposit due at booking. About airfare deals.

To reserve your room, call us toll free at 877.793.3830 (international callers use 510.595.7746) or fill out our Sweet, take me away! form.

SWEET CARIBBEAN CRUISE GROUPS
The more, the merrier, that’s our motto. We’re so into it that we’ll reward you for organizing a group of 10 or more. If you think you have what it takes to be a group leader, call Flavia at 877.793.3830 and get your group started today!

GROUP LEADERS
For groups, we offer the following incentives:
Group organizer receives a $500 on-board credit. Each member of the group receives a $50 on-board credit, choice of champagne, wine or sparkling cider in room and invitation to VIP party. We’ll also help group organizers set up a non-hosted welcome soiree for their group.

If a group leader gets their entire group to sign up for a volunteer project, we’ll recognize their group from the stage.

SWEET CARIBBEAN CRUISE CANCELLATION POLICY
If you cancel 90 days or more prior to your vacation, we’ll move your non-refundable $250 per person deposit to another Sweet vacation and refund the balance of any payments above your deposit within 30 days of receiving your cancellation. If you cancel 89 to 1 days prior to your vacation, we’ll move your paid balance to the vacation of your choosing less a $100 per guest.

reserve the owner’s suit for me!
see you there girls.

when can we start sending money and how does it start?

Hi Shirley,
Thank you for your enthusiasm. We’re accepting reservations now. Call us toll free at 877.SWEET.30 (877.793.3830).

We can’t wait to meet you!

Stay Sweet,
Shannon

If I make a reservation, and am unable to attend due to schedules at school would I be able to cancel my reservation?

Hi Wendy,
We have a pretty Sweet cancellation policy. The premise is simple: We want you to travel with us.

We know unforeseen circumstances sometimes make cancellation unavoidable. If you cancel 90 days or more prior to your vacation, we’ll move your non-refundable deposit to another Sweet vacation and refund the balance of any payments above your deposit within 30 days of receiving your cancellation. If you cancel 89 to 1 days prior to your vacation, we’ll move your paid balance to the vacation of your choosing less a $100 per guest processing fee.

Traveler’s insurance is a great way to protect yourself in the event that unforeseen circumstances prevent you from traveling with us (although you’ll have to ask your insurance rep if school is covered).

Stay Sweet,
Shannon

when you pair up people in the rooms, do you try to put someone in the rooms with them that they may be compatible with, or you just put anyone in the rooms with them?

This sounds like it should be our honeymoon get-a-way. Where do we find out about airfare and a place to stay the night before. Barb & Heather

Hi Barb & Heather,

Our Sweet Caribbean Cruise would be perfect for a honeymoon get-a-way! We are going to visit some fantastic ports in three different countries with fabulous shore excursions and volunteerism options as well as some really exciting and stellar entertainment, events and parties to keep you happy when you are onboard the ship in the evenings and on those At Sea days.

As far as hotel and airfare options, 11 months out from our trip will be the earliest you will be able to purchase your tickets or reserve a hotel room.

But you should check back with us in about 6 months for our hotel, tour and volunteerism Sweet Pre Package. It will prove to be a great experience with a combination of a great hotel, site-seeing in New Orleans and volunteering to rebuild this amazing city. Our Sweet pre-package will be fun and rewarding!

Stay Sweet,

Nicoll

Hi Lady M,

Good Question!

The way that we match single travelers up is based upon age, smoking preference, and if you are a social drinker or a non drinker. If there are any particulars that you have we will do our best to make sure you are matched up with the best person for you. Give me your concerns and I will do my best to find you the right person and the best room to accommodate you and your future roommate.

Stay Sweet,

Flavia

Are these family friendly cruises or geared more for the single lesbian?

Hi Janey,
Singles and doubles are welcome. Sweet vacations are 21 and over. Right now, we have about 20 percent singles. We’ll have awesome programming for singles and couples.

Stay Sweet,
Shannon

Hello Shannon
I am very excited about this cruise.
What sort of passport info would i need for this trip. I have a South African Passport, but i am a permanent resident of the States (greencard)

Hi Nadene,

Glad you are looking forward to the cruise. My best suggestion in order to not incur any trouble at the port is to contact your South African Consulate to verify if you would need a visa to enter Mexico, Honduras, and Belize.

Please let me know if you have further questions.

Stay Sweet!

Flavia

Hi Nadene,

In addition to what I said before I would suggest that you contact the Embassy or Consulate of each of the countries on our itinerary Mexico, Honduras, and Belize. This will ensure that you have the proper identification needed to enter each of these countries.

Stay Sweet!

Flavia

HI
I WOULD LIKE TO SEE PICTURES OF THE SHIP BECAUSE I AM SCARED OF WATER … THAT MUCH WATER ANYWAY! THIS WOULD BE OUR FIRST CRUISE AND I WOULD LIKE FOR IT TO BE SPECTACULAR. AND ALSO EVERYTHING THAT I WILL NEED TO BRING,PASSPORT,PROOF OF MEDICAL HISTORY ETC..

THANK YOU

MICHELLE & NECOLLE PEARCE

Hi Michelle and Necolle,

Thanks for your question. I have been on over 16 cruises and understand the fear. The NCL Spirit is so large that you truly feel like you are on a moving city. Generally on a large cruise such as this, the ship barely moves. I will get some photos together for you and send them directly to your email.

As far as what is necessary to travel all you will need is your passport and your Sweet self.

Thanks and you can always call me at 877-793-3830 with more questions.

Stay Sweet!

Flavia

We are so excited about this upcoming cruise. We just booked a trip with “the other travel company for women.” We booked it partially because Suzanne Westenhoefer was going to be there. Well, now she’s not. So, If we can swing the cruise next fall, we’ll be there. I am excited about the Norwegian Cruise line, the ship looks incredible.
Michelle and Ang

Will this be an all lesbian cruise or shared cruise with other norwegian cruise guests?

It’s an all Sweet cruise. We’re taking over the whole ship for the largest lesbian cruise ever, 2,000 women in the Caribbean.

Hey there,
This cruise will be a special 40th Birthday/3rd year Anniversary for my partner and I. We are coming from Vancouver, BC, and this will be our very first cruise ever, so we’d like it to be as memorable and special as possible.
Which leads to a few questions: In Canada, we are legally able to be married (as opposed to only California and Massachusetts). I’m just wondering if we would be able to arrange a ceremony on this cruise. And if so, would it be considered legal, or would it just be a “committment ceremony” and then we would legalize it when we returned to Canada? Any suggestions would be helpful.
Also, if the cruise departs from New Orlean’s, I gather we are responsible for getting ourselves there from Vancouver, or could you arrange it for us? Oh, and one more question… can we put our monthly payments on a credit card?
Regards,
Joni

Hi Joni,

What a great way to celebrate a birthday and an anniversary. We would love to help you make your special events more Sweet. We will be offering a commitment ceremony onboard the ship. This will not be considered legal but a great way to express your love to each other.

All guests must embark the ship in New Orleans and are responsible for getting themselves to and from the port terminal.

Lastly, our payment plan is simple. We can charge a credit card each month or you can send checks.

Please give me a call if you would like to get all set up. You can reach me at 877-793-3830.

Thanks and Stay Sweet!

Flavia

You say “We’ll add a third or fourth person to your room for $399 each” Does this mean on top of the price per person?
If it is $1099 per person. Do the additional people pay $1498 or $399?

Thanks,
Sue

Hi,
Is this an all inclusive cruise? Meals and alcohol?
Kim

Hi Kim,

The Sweet Caribbean Cruise includes all your food, basic beverages, entertainment, accommodations, and so so much fun. Alcoholic beverages and guided tours are extra. You can of course do what ever you like in each of the ports without having to pay a fee.

Please let me know if I can answer anything else for you!

Thanks and Stay Sweet!

Flavia

Hi Ladies. I hope you don’t mind a guy visiting your site. I live in New Orleans and just wanted you all to know how proud, excited and appreciative we are to be hosting your first cruise. Your community service project is awesome and in much need. I love your commitment to the environment in all of the cities you visit. We look forward to welcoming you in our fabulous city. Thanks again for selecting New Orleans for your “Maiden” Voyage!

Hey,
If we wanted to book the trip and make monthly pmnts, how far from the cruise date would the last pmnt be able to be made? 30 or 60 days?
Thanks for your response.

This is a great site.

Sounds like a lot of fun! I’ll be booking a cabin for one soon, I like my space, and talking to all my friends about coming along. Norwegian is really nice cruise line for those who don’t know and I hear the Spirit is a beautiful ship. Ah, Cozumel. Best snorkeling east of the Great Barrier Reef. It’ll be fine to be in the Queen City of N’awlins. Lots of great lesbians livin’ there! C u soon! Laughty

I’m interested in taking my first cruise this year and this sounds like a nice choice. I’m a single female and looking to meets lots of new friends. Who knows maybe even love. Everything happens for a reason ! My question is, Would the rate be cheaper if you agreed to be placed with a roommate ? I look forward to seeing everyone

Is this cruise especially just for couples, because im single and hoping to meet someone.

is it all inclusive? is the sleeping quarters price separate form airfare/ what other things do we need to pay for

Hi Kimberlyn,

Thanks for your interest in Sweet! We have had a large number of singles booking this cruise. There are many people traveling alone as well as many friends joining each other. I think this would be a great way for you to meet some really Sweet ladies. Please let me know if you would like to discuss this further. You can always reach me directly at 877-793-3830.

Thanks and Stay Sweet!

Flavia

Hello,

The price of the cruise includes your accommodations, food, 24-hour room service, basic beverages, onboard activities, entertainment, taxes, and gratuities. You will need to purchase round trip airfare to and from New Orleans. As well as your airfare alcoholic beverages and guided tours are not included. However when you are in port you can do what ever you like if you do not want to partake in a tour.

Please let me know what else I can answer for you. You can reach me directly at 877-793-3830.

I look forward to seeing you onboard!

Flavia

Flavia,
Do you have a place where single travelers can post their pictures to try and select and roomate. I was paired up on Olivia with a great gal…they chose for me…but I am looking for a certain type of person. Anyone out there who wants a femme cruise buddy?
Jodi

This sounds wonderful! :)

I’ve never gone on a cruise and I don’t want to sound like a rookie…but

Can you please tell me if there are extra fees for the
Roman Spa & Fitness Center? If not can you please post approximately how much these services will cost.

TIA
YzGal

My partner and i will love to take this cruise, however we were wondering how do the payments work. Is there any way that you can break it down into a payment plan?

Also can you send me pic of the boat?

Thanks

Q and T

My partner and i definitley will be there!

Are there spaces in the lowest category? If not what categories are still available?

Hi Janet,
Yes! There are lower level inside cabins still available. With our new 12-month, no interest, no fee monthly payment plan, cabins start at $71 per person per month.

I hope you’ll join us in November.

Stay Sweet,
Shannon

Hi Flavia! Are there any Balcony Staterooms still available??? I would love to take my lovely lady for her birthday!! She’s been everywhere in the world and I want so much to surprise her with an awesome trip! I hope there is space still available! Please let me know!

~a

Wow this cruise sounds like soo much fun . But my partner and i are not able to afford it this year.
I really hope that there will be another nice cruise next year to go on. So will there be another one ?

Yes, we’re planning our 2010 calendar now. Stay tuned!

I didn’t quite understand one of the previous questions either, but that question was for a pricier room and was never answered. They were asking how a 3 or 4 way split and asked for specific pricing.

I am single and I see the cheapest rooms you have would be the inside staterooms for $71.00. Now is that the price that gets split if I ask you to hook me up (well not “hook me up”}, but find me a compatible room mate? or do we each pay that price?

Hi DJ,
Play now, pay later! Our inside staterooms are $1,099 per person double occupancy. Each person pays the $250 deposit, then we break the remaining balance over 12 months, which comes to $71 per person per month.

We’d be happy to find you a compatible roommate. We have a lot of really nice, really fun single gals joining us.

Our next cruise is in early 2011. You do not want to miss this boat!

See you in New Orleans,
Shannon

Do you have any other Aussies booked on this cruise? I guess most women will be coming out of the States. I would like to book but think the airfare from Sydney could be somewhat prohibitive, on top of the cost of the cruise itself…unless you have an affiliated airline to your Company I could contact for a good deal…do you?

We do have Aussies coming. Quite a few in fact. We don’t have an airfare hook up for you, but airfares are lower than they’ve ever been.

Are there still spaces on this cruise? I originally saw it recently on the Southwest Airlines website. I know it may be too late, but please let me know. Thanks.

Hi, You guys still have a spot in a room for me? I am Single…with some friends coming too… they have a room already.
And How much?

Hi, Are there roommates, still needed??

Kathleen
